Biography

Caroline Senger is a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for food.

She started this business because she believes that nutritious, home-cooked, and delicious food is important for overall health and well being, just as regular Massage Therapy treatments are. She has been massaging and cooking for clients, friends and family for over ten years.

She started out as a baker at a small bakery/cafe in Guelph, where she learned how to make just about everything from scratch, including artisan breads, bagels, pies and cakes.

Then she worked at the Urban Herbivore in Kensington Market, where she also gained an appreciaton for innovative vegan, low-fat and wheat-free food.

She can cater to any specialized diet or preference that will suit your needs. From sweet potato-pear soup to lavender angel food cake, she offers you her favourite recipes or can follow from some of yours. Tell her about food you’ve always wanted to try, or a menu you’d like made for you, and she’ll come up with something delicious according to your taste! whether it’s a romantic dinner for two, a holiday feast, a kid’s birthday party, or just some dishes to heat up after work, she can do it all.

After training at the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy to become an RMT, Caroline has developed a home-care program to specialize in pregancy massage and can provide effective pre- and post-partum care, as well as treatment plans for sports injuries, work-related injuries and muscle problems as a result of the strains and stresses of daily life. She can give you pointers on anything from how to massage your baby to more effective ways to stretch your muscles, to tips on postural alignment. She also offers clinical hours at the Performance Health Centre, a clinic in Liberty Village that focuses on musician and performer health care.
